About Me
My name is Joanna and I have been a board-certified licensed esthetician in the state of California since 2018. I received my skin care education at Bellus Academy in El Cajon. After passing the state board exam and receiving my license I worked at a Spa and Wax Center with the intention of learning everything that I possibly could with the goal of opening up my own studio. Shortly after, I created Elite Esthetics and branched out. My objective was to provide the best experience and results I could deliver to my clients. I could happily say I have been lucky enough to have the best clients anyone could ask for!
I provide facial services that range anywhere from the basic facials that are pregnancy safe to more aggressive chemical peels. My most popular facial by far is anything dermaplane related. In addition to facials, I am a highly skilled waxier, specializing in Brazilian’s. I am constantly educating myself on the latest products and techniques all so that I can provide the best experience and results to my clients.
Outside the treatment room my biggest passion is travelling. I have been for 30 countries and counting! I also love learning about different cultures, trying different foods all to develop empathy and deeper understanding of the world (making me quite the conversationalist). I have a small Maltese dog named Sofi and her tiny best friend, a cockatiel parrot. They are inseparable.
